The story of ultrasound

The moment you discover you're going to be a parent, a journey begins. It's a path filled with anticipation, preparation, and a deep yearning to meet the little one growing inside the womb. In the past, parents had to rely solely on the fluttering kicks and the growth of mom’s tummy to feel connected to their unborn child. However, the advent and evolution of ultrasound technology has transformed this waiting period into an interactive experience, allowing parents to see their baby's face, watch them yawn, stretch, and even smile. At Love View Ultrasound, we're at the forefront of this technology, offering 3D/4D/HD Live ultrasound imaging that brings families closer to their newest members before they're even born.

The Beginnings of Ultrasound

The story of ultrasound begins in the late 1950s and early 1960s, with the development of the first 2D ultrasound machines. These machines, although primitive by today's standards, were revolutionary. They provided the first "glimpse" into the womb, offering critical information about the baby's position, health, and development. However, these early images were grainy and often difficult for untrained eyes to decipher.

The Leap to 3D and 4D

The real game-changer came with the introduction of 3D ultrasound in the 1980s, followed by 4D (real-time movement) ultrasound technology. These advancements allowed for detailed, three-dimensional images of the baby's face and body, along with videos that captured movement inside the womb. Suddenly, parents could see their baby's features clearly, watch them suck on their thumb, yawn, and even smile. This leap in technology turned ultrasound sessions into deeply emotional and bonding experiences for expectant parents.

This journey through your baby's early life is a precious moment, and we're here to make it as magical and informative as possible.

The emotional impact of seeing your baby through 3D/4D/HD Live ultrasound cannot be overstated. For many parents, this is the moment it all becomes "real." It's an opportunity to connect with the baby, to see who they're becoming, and to start bonding with them even before birth. These images and videos often become treasured keepsakes, shared with family and friends, and revisited over the years.

"We absolutely loved our experience at Love View. At first our baby would not co-operate with pictures but Samantha was sweet and understanding. She was able to get our baby to roll over and let us see her entire face. I will definitely be back for another Ultrasound."

"I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a 3D-4D ultrasound! They were very nice and the viewing screen in the room was huge. I had six family members with me and they made sure we were all comfortable and had great viewing of our little boy."

Q.
Does an ultrasound at Love View take the place of an ultrasound at a doctor’s office?
A.
No, absolutely not. A 3D/4D Ultrasound at Love View will not take the place of a diagnostic study done by your doctor’s office.  Our ultrasounds are for bonding and viewing your precious baby. To have an ultrasound with us you must be receiving care from a licensed medical professional and have already had a diagnostic ultrasound.
Q.
When is the best time to have my 3D/4D ultrasound?
A.
We are happy to image your little one at any time after 10 weeks. The best time for a 3D/4D Ultrasound is 24-34 weeks. However, it is possible to get adorable images of baby before and after the recommended time frame. Earlier imaging can provide you a glimpse of your baby’s amazing development. Later imaging done once baby has started to gain weight will provide more detailed facial images and cute little hands and feet.
Q.
Will I get perfect images of my baby at every session?
A.
It is our mission at Love View to provide you with a session that is both memorable and filled with great images of baby. We will make every effort to get beautiful images. However, there are a few things that are beyond our control. Baby’s overall position, the amount of amniotic fluid, the position of baby’s arms and legs, and Mommy’s body tissue. These things can have an effect on the clarity and content of the images. Please rest assured we will do everything we can get the best images possible. If we are unable to see baby’s face at a 3D/4D session or if we are unable to determine gender during a Little Man or Little Miss session we will happily schedule you for a re-look.
Q.
Will my family and friends be able to come?
A.
We are able to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people other than Mommy. We also provide a complimentary live streaming service for loved ones who are unable to attend.
Q.
What can I do to give the best chance of good images?
A.
Stay Hydrated! You can make sure you are drinking plenty of water for several days before your session. It is also helpful if you have a light snack right before your session for example fruit or fruit juice
